Dr Michael Hyde
Dr Hyde completed his Bachelors Degree in Dentistry in 1982 at the University of Sydney and spent 2 years in Westmead hospital as a staff dentist. He was invited to take up a post in the United Dental Hospital Orthodontic Department which he began in late 1984. In 1987 he commenced his Masters of Dental Science (Orthodontics) course at the University of Sydney. On completion of this course he moved to Canberra to practise with Dr David Thornton Taylor from November 1998.
While working he successfully completed the prestigious exam by the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Field of Orthodontics. He is one of only 7 orthodontists in the world with this qualification.
He is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Orthodontic Board, the European Orthodontic Society, and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
He is a visiting clinical tutor and lecturer for the Masters Program at The University of Sydney.
His focus is on clinical excellence and practises his profession in a fun filled, friendly atmosphere as he passionately believes that professionalism is not about being serious or aloof but rather defined by doing excellent work and treating his patients and staff exceptionally well.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ray Te Moananui to our team. He brings extensive experience in orthodontic treatment of both adults and children of all ages.
Dr. Te Moananui gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree(with credit) from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. Dr. Te Moananui spent three years in Wellington, New Zealand working in both Hospital and private practice. He then returned to Dunedin to complete his Master of Orthodontics (with distinction) from the University of Otago. Dr Te Moananui then went on to receive membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr. Te Moananui is a member of many professional associations including the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australian Dental Association.
A proud husband and father, Dr. Te Moananui and his wife Monica have a baby girl Aanya. He is a keen sport person, who enjoys rugby union, touch rugby, basketball, surfing and skiing.

Our Senior Front Desk Coordinator. Debbie’s passion is her son Jarrod and so she works with us while he is at school. Debbie is the smile in person and on the phone, the organiser of our daily lives and a friend and confidante to several of our patients and their families. We are truly lucky to have her.
On the front desk, ever ready to smile and a terrific lady in all ways we are delighted to have Ilahna in our team. Captain of the the ACT Indoor soccer team and athletic in the extreme she keeps us happy and organised. She is passionate about all areas of life and so fits in really well into the Supersmile family
On the front desk with fingers faster than a speeding bullet Felicity gets the correspondence to our patients and families and referring dentists out in the blink of an eye. She is a delightful lady with a wonderful sense of humour and an ever ready smile.
Carly
Carly is our wonderful receptionist with a soft heart for animal. Her horse Tyson and she have entered gymkhanas and have been winners in dressage and showjumping. An easy going lady with a ready smile makes her a delight to have in our Supersmile Team.

Sarah A
Sarah left a sparkling ACT hockey career behind and undertook her qualification in Dental Therapy. She has been with Dr Hyde for 21 years and the level of her skill is so high that she did all the braces adjustments when Dr Hyde had braces 5 years ago.
Her commitment to patient care and excellence are second to none.
In her spare time Sarah is a fully qualified Body Balance and Body Step and Aqua instructor.
Sarah K
It is now 7 wonderful years that Sarah has been with our practice. Starting life as a patient Sarah joined our team and with her unflagging dedication to detail and an unstoppable work ethic. She is the lynch pin of our clinical team. Every place needs a person with a no-nonsense attitude to getting things done and Sarah is our person. Her laugh freely ringing through the practice is a delight. A keen runner and fitness fanatic Sarah never seems to run out of energy.
Leanne has been working as a dental therapist for 26 years in the Dental Health Program. Her interest in extending her skills and diversifying into another aspect of the dental field is what attracted her to orthodontics. Friendly staff and a welcoming setting is what drew her to Supersmiles. Leanne is kept busy combining work with raising three children and when time permits she enjoys painting and fishing. She is a wonderful valuable and highly respected member of our team and generates happiness and harmony wherever she goes.
Judy
Judy is the tour de force of our laboratory services. An experienced business woman in her own right we are genuinely lucky to have Judy as part of our team. Her commitment to the job at hand and her ironclad work ethic has many a lesser person in awe of her. Judy’s laugh ringing out through the practice cannot fail but bring a smile to all and sundry.
Sweet , gentle and in the prime of her life as she tells us Roxy is a delight to work with. She is efficient in the extreme and a gentle kind soul. We love having her with us. She is ultra fit and a really family orientated person
Hailing from Kansas, Heather graces us with her cute American accent and her ready sense of humour. She is an extremely easy going and efficient lady who makes friends easily. It was fortunate for us that she married an Aussie and ended up on our shores. She loves lamingtons and all things Australian!
