Dr Michael Hyde
Dr Hyde completed his Bachelors Degree in Dentistry in 1982 at the University of Sydney and spent 2 years in Westmead hospital as a staff dentist. He was invited to take up a post in the United Dental Hospital Orthodontic Department which he began in late 1984. In 1987 he commenced his Masters of Dental Science (Orthodontics) course at the University of Sydney. On completion of this course he moved to Canberra to practise with Dr David Thornton Taylor from November 1998.
While working he successfully completed the prestigious exam by the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Field of Orthodontics. He is one of only 7 orthodontists in the world with this qualification.
He is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Orthodontic Board, the European Orthodontic Society, and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
He is a visiting clinical tutor and lecturer for the Masters Program at The University of Sydney. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Field of Orthodontics.
His focus is on clinical excellence and practises his profession in a fun filled, friendly atmosphere as he passionately believes that professionalism is not about being serious or aloof but rather defined by doing excellent work and treating his patients and staff exceptionally well.
Dr Temo brings extensive experience in orthodontic treatment of both adults and children of all ages.
Dr. Temo gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree(with credit) from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. Dr. Temo spent three years in Wellington, New Zealand working in both Hospital and private practice. He then returned to Dunedin to complete his Master of Orthodontics (with distinction) from the University of Otago. Dr Temo then went on to receive membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr. Temo is a member of many professional associations including the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australian Dental Association.
A proud husband and father, Dr. Temo and his wife Monica have two beautiful young daughters and a son on the way. He is a keen sport person, who enjoys rugby union, touch rugby, basketball, surfing and skiing.

Debbie
Our Senior Front Desk Coordinator. Debbie’s passion is her son Jarrod and so she works with us while he is at school. Debbie is the smile in person and on the phone, the organiser of our daily lives and a friend and confidante to several of our patients and their families. We are truly lucky to have her.
On the front desk in our Jamison practice is Caroline always ready to greet you with a smile. Caroline brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Orthodontic profession. She is a mother of two and brings her motherly, caring nature with her to the practice ensuring all of our patients are well looked after . She is a delightful asset to our team.
Laura
Laura lights up the practice with her luminous smile on the reception desk. Passionate about life and her three children, Laura never seems to run out of energy! In her spare time Laura is a fully qualified swimming and gymnastics coach. Laura is a hard working, warm-hearted person and we are delighted to have her as part of our team
Emily
With fingers faster than lightning, Emily joins the front desk team and helps everything flow efficiently. Emily gets all the correspondence out to our patients, families and referring dentists in the blink of an eye! With a killer smile and a wicked laugh Emily is a fun loving person to have in the practice. Always happyto help with extra duties, Emily fits really well into the Supersmile family.

Sarah A
Sarah left a sparkling ACT hockey career behind and undertook her qualification in Dental Therapy. She has been with Dr Hyde for 23 years and the level of her skill is so high that she did all the braces adjustments when Dr Hyde had braces 5 years ago.
Her commitment to patient care and excellence are second to none.
In her spare time Sarah is a fully qualified Body Balance and Body Step and Aqua instructor.
Sarah K
It is now 13 wonderful years that Sarah has been with our practice. Starting life as a patient Sarah joined our team and with her unflagging dedication to detail and an unstoppable work ethic. She is the lynch pin of our clinical team. Every place needs a person with a no-nonsense attitude to getting things done and Sarah is our person. Her laugh freely ringing through the practice is a delight. A keen runner and fitness fanatic Sarah never seems to run out of energy.
Leanne
Leanne has been working as a dental therapist for 26 years in the Dental Health Program. Her interest in extending her skills and diversifying into another aspect of the dental field is what attracted her to orthodontics. Friendly staff and a welcoming setting is what drew her to Supersmiles. Leanne is kept busy combining work with raising three children and when time permits she enjoys painting and fishing. She is a wonderful valuable and highly respected member of our team and generates happiness and harmony wherever she goes.
Judy
Judy is the tour de force of our laboratory services. An experienced business woman in her own right we are genuinely lucky to have Judy as part of our team. Her commitment to the job at hand and her ironclad work ethic has many a lesser person in awe of her. Judy’s laugh ringing out through the practice cannot fail but bring a smile to all and sundry.
Roxanne
Sally
Sally has been working as a dental assistant since graduating from school and has certainly excelled at it with knowledge in all aspects of orthodontics. Sally’s big smile doesn’t go unnoticed. After recently starting invisible orthodontic treatment with braces on the inside of the teeth Sally’s smile has become even more beautiful. She is a kind-hearted person and all who meet her warm to her straight away. She is certainly a valuable member of our team!
Gabby
Gabby is a dynamo in the clinic. She is a really chatty and friendly lady and a delight to have around. Always smiling, Gabby seems to combine her ease of communication with the ability to notice what is happening around her. Her eye for detail is absolutely terrific. She is the arm wrestling champion of the practice and a fantastic team member.
Leah
Leah started life as a patient of Dr Hyde’s and his sense of humour won her over. We are indeed fortunate to have this jewel in our practice. She is enthusiastic, positive, considerate and a real team player. Starting her day at 5.30 am at the gym Leah is also a personal trainer. The day she had her retainers fitted we were lucky enough to have her join our practice.
Lesley
Lesley works as a hygienist in the Belconnen practice. She is a gentle person with a ready desire to learn and to help. On hearing that we were setting up a branch practice in Belconnen she has waited patiently to join our team when the practice opened its doors. She is a wonderful asset to our team.
