Jo

Jo graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003 with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Oral Health) and has worked in Orthodontics ever since.

Jo moved to Canberra in 2004 and worked for a group Orthodontic practice for almost 10 years.  She then relocated back to Queensland with her family for 6 years where she continued working in Orthodontics. In 2020 (just as covid began), Jo moved back to Canberra and started working at Supersmile Orthodontics and now they certainly call Canberra home.

Jo has been an active member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia for almost 19 years and was President of the ACT Branch for part of that time.

“I really enjoy working in Orthodontics. It is so rewarding being able to reveal the gorgeous smiles of our patients. A great smile really generates so much confidence. We see beautiful transformations in our patients throughout the years that we see them”.

If  Jo is not at work revealing gorgeous smiles,  then she is usually being mum to her energetic 10 year old daughter and her very needy Miniature Groodle ( that didn’t get much poodle so looks like a mini Golden Retriever) and just getting out into the sunshine is her thing.
