Susan

Susan joined our team in early 2022 as a qualified Oral Health Therapist having been part of the dental industry for over 12 years. She has been actively involved in Orthodontics since the beginning of her career as a dental assistant in 2006 in Sydney. During this time, she completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting at TAFE NSW.

Susie received her Bachelor of Oral Health qualification from The University of Newcastle in 2011 where she was awarded the Colgate Prize for Oral Health Promotion. She then continued her studies at the University of Newcastle completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy in 2012.

Since graduating Susie has worked in both Orthodontics and General Practice. “The rewarding nature of orthodontics is my passion and comes from seeing the patient’s confidence grow while their smile transforms during treatment. I strive to ensure patients have a positive experience and I enjoy getting to know them during their orthodontic journey.”

Susie completed a Diploma in Practice Management in 2021 through TAFE Digital whilst raising her daughter and living in the USA for 3 years. She also has an Advanced Diploma in Business majoring in PR and Marketing.

Susie has recently made Canberra officially her home with her husband and daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, watching sport, baking and bike riding with her family.
